About The Project
Guide Dogs for the Blind is the largest non-profit guide dog school in North America with an incredible network of instructors, puppy raisers, volunteers, and donors. Although they have several e-newsletters available on their website, a newsletter specifically formatted for print was created but can also be used in PDF format online. Both Adobe Illustrator and InDesign were used.

Design Process
The key design requirement for this project was to continue the established brand identity created by the client, which was primarily used in their website design. The primary color palette was integrated into the various pages similar to the colorful approach taken by their other branding, as were the font choices.
As most of their e-newsletters consisted of only a single column and typically ran long, I took advantage of using three columns for the print version to best utilize the space in this format. Additionally, all media, including the logo, were required to be recreated as a vector illustration for quality purposes while all content was used from existing articles on their website.
